REQ 7 - ATG Technical Architect

REV brings a wide range of Web Solutions to cater tailor made solutions required by different organizations. Providing a full range of web solutions including high-class web site development, flash design, custom web programming for complex solutions, corporate identity design, and e-commerce solutions, and Process Management System.

Minnesota - USA

This position requires a bachelor�s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering and two years of experience in an IT setting using ATG, ATG E-Commerce, XML, Oracle, and Webservices. The employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of the above provided it meets the actual minimum requirements of the position

Responsible for delivering e-commerce solutions to clients using ATG and ATG Ecommerce software and integration technologies such as Webservices, XML, MQSeries, and ETL.
working with new clients to determine technical requirements and constraints for each project
designing appropriate technical solutions to meet client business requirements, leveraging available products/packages where appropriate
preparing all technical documentation for the project; ensuring the technical quality of project deliverables
facilitating transition of the solution to the client team or hosting environment running on JBoss, Apache & Oracle; providing code-level guidance as well as creating working examples and prototypes to drive solutions and guide development teams
helping client in identifying the performance testing scenario and tuning the application to meet performance requirements; performing multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes
demonstrating expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas; applying broad in-depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities; resolving and working on issues across multiple functional areas
monitoring and taking action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and deciding on issues requiring escalation
understanding the system flow for a project throughout an entire functional areas (Checkout, Customer Care, Shop/Navigation, Search) not just a subsystem area
research emerging web technologies to define strategies and design architectures for the future success of the company. Tools and technologies used include: Java, J2EE, ATG, ATG Ecommerce, XML, Oracle, Performance Testing & Tuning, JBOSS, and Apache.
