Education 
  • Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Master's Degree or higher degree preferred but not necessary in Computer or Engineering.

Essential
  • Should know to create project plan, estimates, WBS
  • Managing schedule and effort. Effectively collect metrics
  • Experience with RUP Iterative Process
  • Self-starter who possess exceptional attitude and aptitude 
  • Ability to work on a collaborative basis 

Experience
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience handling Project Management /Account Management/Program management activities
  • Should have excellent written and oral communication skills, creativity and innovation, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Well aware of SDLC and independently handled projects in the last 2-3 years
  • Process orientation and expertise in quality systems/standards such as SEI-CMMI, RUP Iterative methodology etc. 
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring for team members.
  • Minimum 5+ years of technical experience and exposure in Java/J2EE web applications, solutions and systems. 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of one of the following areas is required: XML, Document technologies, Presentations & Web technologies, Data and Databases. 
  • Knowledge and exposure in Java/J2EE technologies. 
  • Understanding of the Open Source and Standards environments a definitive plus.

Responsible For
  • Accountable for project delivery and overall responsible for complete execution of the project management of medium to big sized teams.
  • Effective monitoring of the management of software deliverables within cost, quality and schedule constraints.
  • Expertise in working with teams delivering J2EE applicaitons 
  • He/she will partner with key roles (e.g. Technical Architect, business analysts, etc.) to meet key project goals.
  • Within the solution development lifecycle, this role will be responsible for early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case, and analysis. 
  • Identify and recruit technical leaders into the organization 
  • Coaches, mentors, and delegates to engineers to facilitate their development.
